Dissertation Information:

Erin Davis, M.A. is currently working to gather information for her dissertation project.

The title of the dissertation is "The effect of parental attachment and level of perceived stress on adjustment of first year college students".

The purpose of the study is to determine how a college student's relationship to their parents and level of stress affects their ability to adjust to college.

The attachment survey is the information gathering component of the dissertation project. Once the study has been completed the results will be posted on the website for those who are interested.

Author Information:

Erin Davis, M.A. is currently a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University in Los Angeles, California. She is currently working on her dissertation project titled "The effect of parental attachment and level of perceived stress on adjustment of first year college students". Erin has been interested in parent-child relationships for several years and through brainstorming and research this interest was developed into a dissertation project idea.
